An opening batsman hailing from Hyderabad (Sind), Sharjeel Khan made a name for himself with T20 blitzes in Pakistan's domestic competition, and was picked for the ODI and T20I squads against Sri Lanka in the UAE in December 2013.
He made his ODI and T20I debut in the limited-overs series against Sri Lanka.
