At 6 p.m. tonight, September 15, Manila City Councilor Robert Ortega tied the knot with his longtime partner Charry Reyes.
Their Christian wedding took place at the Casino Español de Manila on T.M.Kalaw St., Manila.

Among their principal sponsors: Manila City Mayor Joseph Estrada, broadcaster Rey Langit, Robert's talent manager Lolit Solis, and the groom's sister Michelle Ortega.
Robert was grateful to Mayor Estrada, who made time for his wedding even if he had just been discharged from a hospital.
The couple's eight-year-old daughter Obela served as the flower girl.
Robert broke down in tears during the march because he remembered his dad Bobby Ortega, who died on July 30, 2017.
Bobby was a retired police colonel and a former councilor in Baguio City. He was given the moniker "Markang Bungo."

Ret. Col. Roberto "Bobby" Campos Ortega (born March 14, 1939 – July 30, 2017) was a Filipino retired police officer and politician.
