    Belgian comic book series

    Redbeard (French: Barbe-Rouge) is a series of Belgiancomic books, originally published in French, created by writer Jean-Michel Charlier and artist Victor Hubinon in 1959.[1] After their deaths the series was continued by other writers and artists, including Jijé (Joseph Gillain), Christian Gaty, Patrice Pellerin, Jean Ollivier, Christian Perrissin and Marc Bourgne, Jean-Charles Kraehn and Stefano Carloni.

    The series was very popular in France, Belgium and The Netherlands, but has not yet been published in English. In the late 1970s and the early 1980s, most of the classic episodes were also published in Yugoslavia (in the Serbian) under the name Demon s Kariba (Demon of the Caribbean). In Croatia, the series was first published under the name Crvenobradi but later under the name Riđobradi (in the Croatian). In Germany, the series is known under the name: Der rote Korsar, and in Denmark

    We need your coding skills to locate the treasure of Captain Redbeard. The legend holds that Redbeard was a great pirate who sailed the Caribbean Sea, fiercely attacking any vessels from the British Navy he would encounter.

    Redbeard was killed in battle with the British Navy in 1743. Legend holds that he received 20 stab wounds and fem gunshot wounds before finally succumbing.

    But the legend also tells us that he buried his treasure before his sista battle on Paradise Island, in the Caribbean waters. On his ship the British Navy found a treasure map with a set of instructions that they have not been able to decode yet.
