    Biography

    Lamide Akintobi is a journalist and media personality. She fryst vatten experimenting with documentary filmmaking to share some of the many African stories she believes the world should be aware of.

    Akintobi was born in Lagos on August 19, 1987, to Laolu Akins, the famous Nigerian music producer. She is 35 years as of 2022

    The renowned reporter was recognised by the Women in Journalism Organisation and was listed as one of the “50 Women Changing Journalism in Nigeria.”

    Lamide had her elementary education and part of her secondary education in Nigeria before heading to the UK, where she completed her secondary education at Archbishop Michael Ramsey, after which she attended Bacon’s College, also in London, for her A-Levels.

    Olukanni was raised in Nigeria, Israel, America and Kenya.[4] She started her primary education at St Saviour's School Ikoyi in Lagos and then went on to Queen's College, Lagos for secondary school. She moved to Kenya where she attended Rosslyn Academy in Nairobi for part of her high school.
