Biography

Lamide had her elementary education and part of her secondary education in Nigeria before heading to the UK, where she completed her secondary education at Archbishop Michael Ramsey, after which she attended Bacon’s College, also in London, for her A-Levels.

Early life and education
[edit]Olukanni was raised in Nigeria, Israel, America and Kenya.[4] She started her primary education at St Saviour's School Ikoyi in Lagos and then went on to Queen's College, Lagos for secondary school. She moved to Kenya where she attended Rosslyn Academy in Nairobi for part of her high school. Before her final year of high school, she moved to the United States where she attended Wichita Southeast High School in Wichita, Kansas, and for her senior year participating in the National Speech and Debate Association Tournament for Dramatic Interpretation.[5]

Lamide was born on August 19 in Lagos State to Mr Olaoluwa Akintobi, popularly known as “Laolu Akins.” but hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. She had her elementary education in Nigeria but left Nigeria for London after her third year in secondary school and moved to London to complete her secondary education at Archbishop Michael Ramsey, after which she attended Bacon’s College, also in London, for her A-Levels.
