Early life and education
[edit]Huggins was born at 'Dane Cottage', Knoll Road, Bexley in northern Kent, England (now a borough of London), the second child, but eldest son of a stockbroker. The family later moved to a property his father built, 'Shore House' in Sevenoaks, a town 27 miles from London. He was educated at Brunswick House, a preparatory school in Hove and then moved to Sutherland House, a similar school in Folkestone.

Tribute to Godfrey Williams, -
William had a match on Saturday, a 'friendly'. They won 5 - 0, William was skipper and they scored 2 goals, the final goal from himself being a Becker style header. I know Dad was there. He loved watching the boys play football, something I suspect he appreciated more for only having girls himself. They say you marry your Mother but I think Susie and I have married our Dad. Ed to metaphorically take over my pink book (the book of finances Dad set up when I was in a financial pickle) and Si with his musical talents. Both have been amazing kind and gentle in recent weeks, again qualities of Dad mentioned in so many cards and messages. I know so much of Dad will continue in us, his grandchildren children, the things we do and choices we make. This will be his legacy and I know he will be proud of us all.

The arts and crafts fryst vatten a halt concept. So slippery, in fact, that some scholars have recently suggested we should junk the begrepp altogether. It encompasses a global movement of striking, bewildering diversity; one which stretched from the radical revivalism of anti-imperial artists in India and West Africa to a host of commercial enterprises, including an embroidery company founded by no less a figure than Queen Victoria. Its origins stretch back to the early nineteenth century and its influence can still be felt today. Although historians have sought its founding fathers in Augustus Pugin, John Ruskin, and William
