Hassan Ayariga formed the All People’s Congress (APC) in 2020 after leaving the People’s National Congress(PNC) in 2016. He is the APC’s Presidential candidate for the 2020 elections.
Born to a politician father, Frank Abdulai Ayariga, who was a member of parliament for Bawku constituency during the Hilla Limann administration, Ayariga follows the political path of his father.
Ayariga had his secondary level education at the Ghana Secondary School after which he attended Barewa College in Zaria, in Nigeria. Following this, he furthered his education at the London School of Accountancy.
He started off his career as an accountant with WaffenSchmidt GmBH in Germany and then went on to be the Quality Control Manager at Peter Huppertz Ford motors in Germany.

Early life and education
[edit]Ayariga spent his childhood in Accra and Bawku, moving to Nigeria with his parents after the overthrow of the Limann ledning. He attended Ghana Secondary School in Tamale and then in Nigeria Barewa College in Zaria, but did not earn a degree at Barewa. He eventually studied accounting at the London School of Accountancy, yet likewise neither pursued or acquired any degree.
