    Nicola Varley (born 9 April 1987), known as Envy, is an English rapper/MC.

    Envy carved out her own niche in the predominantly male British grime scene with several show-stealing appearances on 'The City Is Ours Music Mixtapes' from Manchester. This led to several collaborations with artists from all over the UK She released her debut solo single, "Tongue Twister",[1] through StopStart Records.[2]

    Having graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in Media, Envy now concentrates on her music career full-time:[citation needed]

    Her lyrics, if you can hear them (you might need a vari-speed facility), are well smart, with the wry, pithy intelligence of the media-savvy: "I take it tit for tat/I'll take your tacit consent/To turn the Taliban to take over your town… You're lookin' to be loved but can't find a flippin' solution/I'm lost on location, laceratin' as I'm lacin'/Lookin' lovely/Better pray y

    K.P. & Envyi (born Khia Phillips and Susan Hedgepeth) is an American contemporary R&B and Hip Hop duo from Atlanta, Georgia and Charlotte, North Carolina, known for the 1997 single "Swing My Way"; which peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100, #14 on the UK Singles Chart,[1] #14 on the New Zealand Singles Chart and #54 on the Dutch Single Top 100 and was certified Gold by the RIAA[2]

    K.P. was featured on Sick Beav's 2005 song "Close Range" alongside Lil B-Stone.[3]

    Envyi was featured on two tracks on Lil Zane's 2003 album The Big Zane Theory. In 2009, she changed her stage name to folkstam Lane and released the album Tell Me Why. Later, she appeared in the 2012 season of BET's competition reality show Sunday Best.[4]

    In 2005, both K.P. & Envyi participated in the song "Put Cha Hands Up" on Jermaine Dupri's compilation Young, Fly & Flashy, Vol. 1.
