Keith R. McLoughlin, born June 10, 1956, was president and CEO of Electrolux between January 1, 2011, and January 31, 2016.[1] Most recently, McLoughlin was Chief Operations Officer responsible for R&D, Manufacturing and Purchasing for Electrolux Major Appliances.
McLoughlin joined Electrolux in March 2003 as Head of Major Appliances North America, Electrolux business sector for white goods in North America. He also served as Head of Major Appliances in Latin America between 2004 and 2007.
Prior to joining Electrolux, McLoughlin was vice president and General Manager of DuPont Nonwovens for DuPont Corporation, where he served in a number of senior management positions, leading consumer branded businesses such as Tyvek, Corian and Stainmaster.

Keith brings extensive expertise in Alberta politics to clients of New West. He understands well the machinery of the Alberta government and has significant experience with stakeholder relations, project and campaign management and strategic communications.
Keith’s career began at the Calgary office of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. There he served as an Assistant Trade Commissioner helping companies grow their international business and access new markets. He has also served as a Chief of Staff to several ministers in the former Rachel Notley government. Throughout his time in Alberta politics, Keith has worked closely and effectively with political officials in all three levels of government, and helped lead many strategic initiatives related to municipal governance, consumer protection and local election reforms in Alberta.
