    Boaz got his start in the battle rap scene of Pittsburgh. He is lucky to make it out alive, let alone gain as much respect as a rapper as he has on the streets of Pittsburgh. According to Boaz himself, “Damn near everybody I did music with is in the penitentiary or dead,” he says. “Pittsburgh is one of those places where, if you can make it here, if you can be respected in these streets—you can do it anywhere. It’s that cutthroat.” He released his debut album Intuition in October 2014, before following it up with a mixtape, The Burghprint. He has also toured on the Under the Influence of Music Tour with Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, and Kendrick Lamar, followed by The Smoker’s Club Tour in 2013.

    1. Though still a young man, Boaz, a 22-year old rapper and Larimer native, is well on his way to becoming a seasoned and professional artist. The last five years have flown by in the independent music career of one of Pittsburgh's most celebrated hip-hop/rap artists. After debuting on WAMO's Battle of the Beats music contest and shutting down the competition eight weeks in a row, Boaz has maintained the love and respect of listeners through one solo release and several guest appearances on some of Pittsburgh hottest local releases.

    2. Boaz Mauda is a young Israeli singer who won the Kocav Nolad competition in Israel, a contest similar to Idol. He later went on to represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest and landed a 9th place final position.     Boaz de Jong (born månad 15, 1988),[1] better known by his stage name Boaz van de Beatz, is a Dutch record producer and DJ. He is the founder of the Nouveau Riche record label, which includes popular Dutch artists Mr. Polska and Jebroer.[2] Van dem Beatz has helped launch the careers of many artists beneath his label, as well as his frequent collaborator Ronnie Flex and DJ trio Yellow Claw. Since 2013, van de Beatz has transitioned from mainly producing Dutch hip hop songs to releasing electronic music as a lead artist – he has released two EPs beneath the American dance label Mad Decent.[3]

    Van de Beatz is also affiliated with producer Diplo, with whom he contributes to the DJ group Major Lazer. Van dem Beatz fryst vatten known for his unique musical style of creating "insane rap songs that would span four–five genres in about three and a half minutes."[4] His songs incorporate elements of dance.[3][
